DHU-Raffles Institute

Raffles Design Institute, Shanghai (previously known as Lasalle-DHU International Design College) was founded by Donghua University and Raffles Design Institute, Singapore in 1994. Donghua University is one of the '211 Project' Universities directly subordinates to Chinese Ministry of Education. As a renowned joint college, its outstanding education quality and creative environment is well-known in Asia-Pacific area.

Raffles Design Institute, Shanghai has considered to be the designers developing base for the organizing committee of “China Cup” international fashion design competition and has received the membership from International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and Shanghai Multimedia Industry Association. The institute has been rewarded as golden project by Shanghai Education Expo for two consecutive years, 2006 and 2007.

Currently, Raffles Design Institute, Shanghai has a total of six 3-year programs, with more than 150 academic staff from nearly 30 different countries, such as the USA, UK, France and Italy, all have foreign expert license issued by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.

After 16 years of rapid development, Raffles Design Institute, Shanghai has grown to the current capacity of more than 3000 students from in and out of China. About Raffles Education Corporation
